Colonial Style
This building was completely revised on the outside from a Contemporary Style house to a more traditional Georgian Style House.javascript:; We replaced all the windows with historic Mahogany Wood Double Hung windows. The roof was replaced with a Cedar Shake roof and copper gutters and downspouts. The walls were clad in cedar clad board siding. All the first level windows had trus pediments of the period.
Colonial Style
After this building was transformed. We used Marvin Historic Double Hung Wood Mahogany Windows. All the siding is clear heart cedar primed both sides furred out. The roof is cedar shakes sealed both sides and installed on a furred out roof so the cedar can dry out. All the downspouts are copper. All the trim, dentils, and moldings are made from Fypon to emulate the colonial style. This was done so the owner would not have to do maintenance of painting the trim.
